I Forgot Too

From Andy

Thank you all so much for your participation in this years Design-A-Thon.  The purpose of the event is to challenge ourselves, to push our boundaries, and to step out of our comfort zones.  Challenge met!  The entries were wonderful this year!

IMPORTANT!!
I have only received two patterns electronically, and one of them is from one of the two people who do not want their pattern published in the BLKG pamphlet. The due date for getting your patterns to me electronically is this Monday, April 20th.

Thank you!

Brewers' Stitch n' Pitch

Marsha just emailed me the info about the Brewers' Stitch n' Pitch night which will be held on Thursday, June 11, the same night as our Annual Picnic.  (Poor planning on their part, don't you think?  We had the date first.)

If you go and if you purchase your ticket through the website you get a limited edition Hank bobblehead doll.  (I'm not much of a baseball fan but that is one cute souvenir.)

The reason I'm telling you this is so you'll go look at the link because members of BLKG (Laura & Linda, I'm looking at you.) are prominent in one of the photos on their site.

Are You Ready?

I'm getting there.

This Thursday, April 9 is the next BLKG meeting.  It's the meeting when you/we have to have our Design-a-Thon entries knitted, blocked, ready to show off, AND the pattern written.  You remember that writing up the pattern is one of the entry criteria, right?  You've been taking notes of what you did, right?  I know it's Easter weekend and you're busy with family, me too, but I wanted to remind you that this coming Thursday is IT.  We can do this.  It's fun.

I can't wait to see what everybody's made.
