Crazy Places to Knit

I'll go first. The craziest place I've ever knit (so far) is 30 ft. underwater at Windsock dive site in Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles.

I used Bryspun nylon US 5 double points and a scrap of dishcloth cotton. I only knit a few stitches because I was too distracted by all the pretty fishies.

If you've got a picture of yourself knitting in a crazy place, leave a comment and I'll get in touch with you so that we can inspire others to take knitting to new places.

  1. I have not knitted in crazy places but en route to wonderful places, such as on a Stutgart-to-Frankfurt train, a plane to London from the US, in the car all over the US. Oh, I almost forgot, I knit in the rain by a campfire on a little island near Vancouver Island, British Columbia. If I find the picture I will add it.

  2. I have pictures of knitting in Angor Wat, Burma, Vietnam, Thailand on a trip last year. It was a fun thing to do.
